It can be as soon as sperm meets eggs, a few weeks later, or never. It all depends on the woman and her hormones. Most women don't experience symptoms till 3 weeks after they ovulate. because the hormone HCG that you produce in pregnancy isn't that strong till 3 weeks after ovulation.
And you can get pregnant anywhere from 4 hours to five days after you have intercourse. Sperm are powerful suckers, they can live in you for up to 5 days in the right environment. It all depends on when you ovulate and when you had sex.

You can get pregnant as soon as you have intercourse. If you are having morning before your missed period then you are probably worrying

I am 19 weeks pregnant and I experienced morning sickness from the date of conception. I didn't however with my daughter, so each pregnancy is different and some never have any sickness.

Now, Shannon had a good answer! But seriously, morning sickness is the result of your body's acclimating to the chemical changes that take place during pregnancy. Your period is the result of the egg your ovary sent to the uterus NOT being fertilised, and the tissue that will feed the fetus sloughs off the wall of the uterus and is expelled. If you don't want to get PG and haven't used any protection to keep from getting that way, you can douch with a saline solution and hopefully kill the sperm.
Best do that right away, however. Does this do you any good?

I was roughly 6 weeks pregnant when I began experiencing morning sickness. I think it usually takes a few days for fertilization of an egg to occur, those little sperms have a ways to travel!

I had morning sickness a week before my period was due & about a week & 1/2 after conception. It stuck around for weeks too :(
Luckily for me, it's starting to go away--I am 11 weeks now.

With both of my kiddos I started feeling sick right around the time my period should have showed up, so about 3-4 weeks along.

I started getting sick within 2 weeks after conception. But I'm really sensitive. It's usually after you miss your period.
