How old were you and did it scare you? Did it turn you into a horror movie freak? My first was "Misery," I was 9, and it did scare the crap out of me. But it also turned me into the ultimate horror movie fan!

I believe it was either arnidphobia or IT, both scared the hell out of me due to the fact that I was only like 9. lol. I am now, the ultimate horror movie fan. I just recently saw the new remake version of the Omen. Only a good watch in theatres dues to the fact that the only part that scares you is when the devil flashes and you're startled by the loud music. A fun watch in the theatres because everyone jumps and screams at once and then laughs because they did it.

the first I saw was one of the Freddy movies when I was 6. It wasn't that scary but I still never close the shower door completely because of the scene where the girl drowns in the shower. Now that I'm older, I hate horror movies. The Ring scared the crap out of me and now I refuse to watch anymore.

Oh Jingles, you've come across my favourite problem the following. I actual love undesirable horror. My favourite variety is 70's Italian horror, yet there is a few large undesirable horror from all round. a number of my favourite tacky horror videos are- Psychomania - 1973 with a solid of regularly unknowns except for George Sanders. that is about an fantastically *undesirable* bike gang that figures out a thanks to kill themselves and are available decrease back from the useless. that is truly stupid. Suspiria - 1977 - that is easily a good movie (variety of) even if the communique became written for 12 3 hundred and sixty 5 days old females then they keen to make it with older females (like adults) so that you've were given finished grown females performing like sons and daughters. Plus that is about a dance college run through a coven of witches. that is seen a classic and that is one in each of my favs even if that is amazingly tacky. It also has Udo Kier in it and absolutely everyone who's conscious who that it, is conscious he without delay makes a movie tacky. Carnival of Souls - 1962 - After experiencing an fantastically undesirable motor vehicle damage, this hassle-free lady is going on to pursue her new pastime in a clean city as church organist. yet her actual obsession is a few deserted pavilion. This movie is weird and wonderful and back, i easily truly like it even if that is so goofy. Church organists are so exciting and all. i ought to record one hundred of those. yet those are a number of what I evaluate the better of the worst.

Texas Chain Saw Massacre in 1974 which scared the poop out of me. Wouldn't say I was a horror movie freak but I do enjoy a good scary movie now and then.

I saw The Exorcist (on TV, with the good stuff cut out). I watched it with some really funny friends and we laughed all the way through it. I still laugh at the absolutely ridiculous plots and situations in horror movies and the predictability of them...

For example, if you ever walk up stairs calling someone's name, and they don't answer, DO NOT continue walking up the stairs — you are in a horror movie and there is a maniacal killer at the top of the stairs who has already killed the person for whom you are looking and is waiting for you.

I actually walked up stairs calling a friend's name. He didn't answer, and I made it almost to the top of the stairs. I suddenly realized I was in a horror movie, so I stopped, went downstairs and ran to the most public place I could find.

I survived my brush with being in a horror movie, and continue to laugh...

Child Play. i don't know which one i was about 3 years old, i hardly remember it because i woke up in the night i think it was 11:00 and i saw my brother and mom watching it in the living room. It did scare me at this part when chuckie grabbed someone's feet. so for about 8 years i've kept my feet on the couch. i am a horror movie freak now but not because of that movie.

When I was like 10 my parents let my sister (who was 8) watch the movie Freddy Kruger, Nightmare on Elms Street. I loved it! Sure, it was scary, but I wanted to see more. I watched all of the series and was never "scared". Bring us to now and I will not watch horror movies because they scare the crap out of me! Strange I know. Even movies I saw as a kid I can't watch now.

If I remember correctly, the first actualy horror movie I saw was one of the Freddy Kruger movies (if that's how you spell his last name). I think I was around 9 or 10 when I saw it. However, I am now a huge gory, horror movie fan. Those are the best kinds of movies and my favorites although I must say, they started to get cheesy, but now they're getting good again.

First horror movie I remember was the original House on Haunted Hill. I didn't see it all the way through because the scene in the cellar when one of the guests is scared by the housekeepers freaked me out too much. Boy was I ever disappointed when I finally watched it all the way through. Dracula used to do a number on me until someone in my house remarked that Dracula used too much pomade on his hair. From that point on I was finished with Bela Lugosi.
