Why is it okay to say that Democrats are godless Communists, but not okay to say that Republicans are racist?

This is the United States. You can say whatever you want, as long as it isn't libelous or slanderous. Actually both statements are true and untrue and both are inaccurate. It's conservatives and liberals you are talking about. There are certainly Democrats/liberals who are Godless communists, as there are certainly Republicans/conservatives who are racist. However, there are many Dems who are not Godless or communists. And just as many Reps who are not racist. However, though you may find the random conservative who is Godless, you won't find any who are communist (the oil/water thing); unlike the large number of liberals you can uncover who are racist. The difference between a liberal racist and conservative racist is the conservative is more honest about his racism. The racist liberal hides behind his concern for the less fortunate with his welfare programs and his entitlement programs. These liberals believe that these unfortunates are all inately incapable of taking care of themselves or making rational decisions and must, therefore, be taken care of by the government. What could be more racist than that? They are certainly decent enough people, for a gardener, pool man, pizza deliverer, and the like, but it's always best to give them handouts so they don't get too ambitious. Now the problem with the average Dem is that he doesn't do any independent research on the issues. He accepts whatever the liberal talking points are from the hard left and just go on as if they know what they are talking about. Now, let's explore how this equates with Godless communism. Since liberals don't want the unfortunates to get ambitious (and maybe succeed at something), it is necessary to make sure they feel no social or personal responsibility, and it is also necessary to redistribute the wealth, i.e. Godlessness and communism! It's all so easy. As far as Repubs/conservatives being racist, like I've already pointed out, there are those who are racist,. Unfortunately this sort of abberation is part of human nature. However, what is touted by the liberals as conservative racism is in fact not. It is a steadfast belief in personal responsibility, ethics and morals, and since liberals don't want their 'children of color' to have to think about these advanced theories, those who believe in them must, therefore, be racist! I know this is going to be a little difficult for most dems/liberals to digest, afterall it will require some independent thought.

It's not ok to say either unless you just want to. Universals aren't logical or true. Unless you say something like... "All black corvets are black." Well some may be worn out and not so black. How could someone who believes in Democracy be a godless communist? How could someone who supported initiated freedom from slavery (republicans are responsible for this) be called racist? Learn what each means and quit listing one person or two or even 300 as speaking for the whole group. You or they may be greatly uninformed.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt was a Democrat. Harry Truman was a Democrat and hated Stalin, the Communist.

John F Kennedy was a Democrat and tried to stop the spread of Communism in Vietnam.

The first African American Senator (a former slave) was a Republican.

It was Republican Congressmen who passed the Civil Rights Laws, when "Southern Democrats" did everything they could to block them. The KKK was the 'terrorist' faction of the Democrat party.

It's stupid to say that about both parties. Every person is different and if we label people by what party they belong to it does no justice for the greater good of humanity. Don't worry so much about who saying what and doing what because you can only control yourself, and if you want to make a change in the world you have to change yourself first.
