Actually if your going to spend that much for a touring bike, BMW is the way to go. Faster,better handling, more comfortable and legendary reliability.

The Touring models which include the Electra Glide, Road Glide and Road King. The Electra Glide and Road Glide come with fairings that provide a lot of wind protection and also have radios. The Road King comes with a detachable windsheild, so you can ride with a little more sporty look around town. You can google Harley Davidson and see all their bikes online.

A Harley is a very harsh ride they tend to rattle themselves apart. My friend was not even able to drive from Michigan to Louisiana with out stopping to have his case re tightened, ya it was warranted that time but he has had the same problem over and over again. Look into a gold wing they are very smooth and great for touring

I agree on the sport bike personally i don't like them and also personally i would go soft tail.
