Wounds need to have humidity to heal faster, so if the summer is a humid one, they'll heal faster in the summer. Winter's dry air tends to dehydrate skin, thus making it chapped and broken.

I know that it was a decade ago but i dont agree that wounds heal faster in summer. Because the hotter it is, the more infections arise, so that you cant heal your injured skin properly. But... in winter skin heals much faster and effectively because of the weather. The colder it is, the less parasites live. So that your injured skin heals much faster in winter. Only the coldest weather is the cleanest. Mention this... the only cleanest continent in the world is Antarctica. It has perfect clean weather. Because absolute cold is present. So that the conclusion...is yours.......

faster in the summer as long as they are kept from infection.
The cold dry air of winter does to your wounds what it does to your lips. That makes it hearder for it to heal.
