you know how cover girl makes their outlast lip color that last hours? they have a foundation like that too and i love it. As far as powder goes, i don't know if that's been invented yet, haha.

Actually, anykind of makeup can last all day long. You just have to know the right way to put it on!!
First, cleanse your face with an oil-control cleanser. Apply and toner and moisturizer. Wait 15 minutes before you apply your foundation. This will let your skin absorb the moisturizer fully so your foundation can set. After applying your foundation, apply your powder using a powder brush (use a puff ONLY for touch-ups). After you finish applying all your make-up, spritz your face with a liquid moisturizer that sets your make-up and keeps it from rubbing off (MAC makes one that is AWESOME!! i use it at pageants and when I model to keep my make-up fresh!!). This should work!!

MAC Studio Fix. It is a compact that you can use like a powder but it is a mix of powder and foundation. provides great coverage! costs about $25.

there is a store called sephora. it last up to 12 hrs a day. but thats simply because their powder foundation is like 50 bucks. they use it on a lot of famous people.

I've been using Sheer Cover (the mineral one from TV) for almost a year now, and I love it. My face never looks oily, and it lasts all day. You can use your regular eye shadow and blush over it, too. If it's too expensive for your taste, you can use the Neutrogena mineral foundation. I plan on switching once I run out of this batch.

I find channel very good, I use both there foundation and powder I wear it all day without reapplying, they run for about $45, good luck

Any poweder that stays on longer, I would say try stuff that's not known to the World by tv commercials. Like The Color Institute, you'd find those either in your local Pharmaceutical Stores e.g. Walgreens, Eckerd, CVS. Might be able to find them in Walmart, K-Mart, all Department stores like, Boscov's, Strawbridges, JCPenney, Sears, Macy's. Any place like those you could find color institute.
