What a complicated mess! My best advice, after many years on this planet, and my share of broken hearts, is to move on. If the guy is too shy or scared to talk to her, in spite of knowing how she feels, and in spite of admitting he returns her feelings, then there's a problem, and it's not with her. Actions speak louder than words, and his actions (or lack of them) say he is NOT interested.
My question is why this friend of yours hangs on to any hope of a relationship with someone clearly so reticent? I'm sure she's a great girl. She should enjoy life and eventually she will meet someone who deserves her.

It might be because he feels shy and doesn't really dare to talk to your friend. You should tell him that your friend might soon want to break-up. So if he really does love her then he'll start talking to her again!

O.K first maybe the guy she likes wants her to make the first step towards stronger relationship and stuff. Maybe she did something dumb and that's the reason they never talk to her.also that might be the way to get her attention...................if u know what i mean........

well. i think its strange to.mayb you should talk to the girl see why she doesnt return their stuff . i mean obviosly when you tell someone you love them you dont always mean it. it is jus words. maybe thats how she feels. i mean, maybe she just says its long distance so screw it. thats one persons opinion tho.
