Of course Our people on the USS COLE matter, and yes I believe that the weakness that Clinton portrayed of Our country throughout his whole Presidency caused 911. He let those Muslim extremist kill Americans over and over without any retaliation. He was a disgrace to Our nation in my opinion!

How the hell did Bill Clinton cause the 9/11 attacks? The outgoing Clinton administration actually warned the incoming Bush administration that they would have trouble with Osama bin Laden. And not only that, but Bush & Co. actually got intelligence reports shortly before 9/11 that an attack would probably take place, though it didn't say when. It's amazing how the Republicans still try to blame Clinton for everything, whether it's the 9/11 attacks or the record deficit Bush has given us. Give it a rest, already! Bush has been in office for almost 6 years now, so it's time to get over the head job Clinton got in the Oval Office and hold Bush accountable for his screw-ups.

actually--in response to the one answer it was Al Gore during a senate meeting that said Bin laden was not a threat-second Bill Clinton himself did not cause 9-11 but one of his appointed(can't remember her name) made it illegal for the different Intel. agencies to share info with each other-her point was that if something happened it would be easier to figure out who was to blame later- the republicans told the Clinton admin. that after the fact was not good enough (they didn't listen) .As for the people who bombed the USS Cole-they were caught and brought to trial.

What the Bush haters are missing is that unless 9/11 was plotted planned and executed in three months, which is impossible then it was actually Clintons Democrat government which the terrorists were striking at.

Just like when they bombed the USS Cole.

Just like when they bombed the American Embassies in East Africa, which led to Clinton firing cruise missiles at Afghanistan to try and take out Bin Laden.

And just like the first WTC bomb in 1993

And the democrats blame Bush.......................

Well, if our level of success on combating terrorism is, as Cheney recently said, that we haven't been "hit" since 9/11, then Clinton did an excellent job of combating terrorism, since on his watch we weren't "hit" after the Cole.

One of the priorities of the outgoing Clinton administration was to show the danger of Bin Laden and Al Qaeda. The Bush administration chose to ignore it.

Clinton and Gore are the cause for all that. 9/11 and the high gas prices are all do to those two guys. Hopefull Bush can clean up the mess that they left behind.

President that hold some blame for 9/11

Bush; for the simple fact that it happened on his watch
Clinton; for his failures to capture Bin Laden
Reagan; for his support of Iraq vs. Iran and for building up the mujaheddin in Afghanistan while they fought the Soviets, which turned into Al Queda.

I totally support Bush in the war, however I am not so blinded by my party affiliation that I cannot see how this developed.

Hell, to hear you repuks spin your tales, Clinton caused the San Francisco earth quake. I am sorry but it happened under Buah's watch, he was in office long enough and had intelligence that it was going to happen and did nothing. I cannot see how you can blame Clinton for that. But then again when has a idiot repuglican made any sense of anything.
