Who else is going to be sad when the last book comes out this next year or two? Does anyone have an idea about what's going to happen in the seventh book? Also do you really think it's going to be the last we see of Harry Potter? I wouldn't mind it if Rowling started a new series mind you, but I just hate to see Harry Potter end so soon.

I'm going to miss HP so much when I finish read book 7. JK Rowling says she isn't writing anymore after, she said that she may write something dealing with magic (potions, transfig etc) for charity but there are no more HP bks. ever.

Anyway I think JK is going to kill Harry in bk. 7, Snape is not evil. I think he was following Dumbledore's orders (the way Dumbledore asked for help and when Snape hesisitated before he made the Unbreakable Oath). Ron and Hermione will survive to tell HP's story.

I think something is going to happen at Bill and Fleur's wedding (I'm hoping it'll be a double with Lupin and Tonks), a death or the Death Eaters appearing or something.

After I read the last book, I'll probably be crying and a state of denial for weeks...but I can't wait for the release!

Oh, I assure you I will be very sad when the last book comes out. We've all just invested so much with these characters and feel like we know them and then when it's over it is just sad. But yes, I do think that Rowling will stop with Book 7. She has been writing Harry for a long time, I'm sure she is ready for a change. I'm just worried about how everything will fit in in the last novel. She's got a lot of information to cover and a lot of questions to answer. Harry's got to recover the remaining horcruxes AND kill Voldemort, while in the meantime discovering more information about his parents, finding out what is going to happen to Hogwarts, and trying to decide what he'll do (as well as the rest of the crew) after Hogwarts. Maybe it's just my optimism, hoping that she wont be able to fit it all in Book 7! :)
Even though it's going to be sad when Book 7 does arrive, it's exciting to think about what else Rowling would write...I wonder what will be after Harry Potter?

According to J.K. Rowling, she will not be writing anymore Harry Potter books. She said that she would wrap everything up in the seventh book and there should be no unanswered questions at the end. Cheer up, they still haven't finished the movies. We still have those.

Yeah, it has been a fun ride. I don't know what will be the 7th book's ending. People keep trying to make couples out of all the characters - but really even at 18 or 19 or so they are too young to get so serious, I think. I wanted to see Hermione grow up to take over Professor McGonagalls' job or something similar at Hogwarts - since she was already so studious and on her way to becoming a professor of some kind - but who knows what will happen.

I think I'm going to be very sad...those books were awesome!!

I have no idea whats going to happen but all I know is that Harry is going to get his revenge back on Snape and Voldemort, of course.

I have no idea if it will be the last time we will see him, but I'm sure she'll probably make some books about his adult life, hopefully.

its gonna be really sad seeing Harry Potter end, I'm going to be on some serious denial there, and in some sort of weird way i don't want it to come out cause it will be the end.
I only hope Harry, Ron and Hermione survive.

Yes Harry Potter will end. I know its sad cos I absoulutly adore Harry & his friends. It will be a sad ending. Harry will go on his quest of finding "You-know-who", and will die in the process while destroying all evil wizardsand "You-know-who" . All Harry's fans will cry, and Hermoine & Ron will carry on his mission.
