It always took me about 6 months to lose all the weight; although I gained a different amount every time. With the first one I gained 55 pounds and I lost 60. With the others I gained 48 pounds, 47 pounds, and 43 pounds. I was an average healthy weight every time I got pregnant.

I lost 25 lbs 2 days after I had my baby. I gained 35 lbs during the whole pregnancy. I lost all my baby weight in about 6 weeks. Now I weigh less than I did before I was pregnant. I didn't workout or diet. I breastfed my son, that's why I lost my weight so quickly. The least amount of weight you should gain is 30 lbs.

I was probably a little underweight before each of my three pregnancies. I gained way too much each time. (46, 52, and 60 pounds respectively). I was able to lose it the first time in about 6 weeks. The second time in about 6 months and the last one took nearly a year but I actually lost about 70 pounds. They will tell you that breastfeeding will help you lose weight, and it does but here's the catch - it takes about a year of slow and steady losing (and I do mean slow) then about that year mark weight just starts falling off. I nursed my youngest daughter for 2 1/2 years (more her choice than mine) but it definitely helped me get my figure back and keep it. So it is worth it to nurse, but don't think that it will work overnight. Now that I've said all this, EVERY woman has a unique experience, so please don't compare yourself too much to anyone and enjoy your own experience.

My first, i gained 20 lbs.... but I was active every weekend..went dancing walked...worked my butt off cause I was a single mom then... and I lost all of it...
My second.. I gained about 25 lbs...still active...didnt dance like before...but worked out all the time...afterwards... i lost all and them some... alot more... been smaller now then in high school
this pregnancy...so far I have gained 1 lb... and I am 18 weeks... It all just depends on how active you are and how determined you are to lose it afterwards...
I am 5'6 and average weight....and constantly exercising
Good Luck

I had a baby and gained around 25 pounds and lost almost all of it in the hospital.
When i had my set of twins i gained 50 and lost only 20.
It took me a good 3 months to loose the remaining 30 pounds and to look good.
