Because it obviously still sells the products, people must be buying them even though they know the celebs are getting paid, otherwise the companies would stop shelling out the big bucks to pay them and pay some nobodies like us to sell their junk. Hey, if I'm Zitterella sitting home thinking that some goddess celebrity used to be Zitterella before she used the product, I am SO dialing the phone. It happens because it works. We are zombies for this stuff....sad but true.

Good Question. Another good question is: Why does someone who we consider a celebrity need even more money so badly that they would stoop to the lowness of an infomercial? I completely lose respect for them when they do that. I could probably live the rest of my life off of the money they make from shooting one Proactiv commercial.

because they also pay them to use the products as well,..Federal law states that a person cannot endorse the product unless they have actually used it...whether it works or not they are paid to say it does.

its that or pay regular joes, whom we wouldn't give the time of day, to tell us about Proactiv.
Advertising is all about getting the audience's attention first. Celebrity endorsements do that. That's why you have major sports stars selling you jockstraps.
