Almost all the companies do and will. Not only because they want to do new work, but also because, typically, they don't have to pay royalties. Read reviews in LA Weekly and find a company which does work similar to yours.

There are all kinds of groups that do Playwright Festivals. I know that Fullerton College does a great one during summer and that there are other ones scatttered around the area. Contributing to a festival is a great way to work out the kinks in your play before submitting it for actual performance.

If this doesn't interest you, many independent theatres will accept scripts from new playwrights, but they often require that you join their company or that you pay some sort of fee. Go to some local places and see what their policy is. Good luck! :)

The Academy for New Musical Theater, headed up by the excellent John Sparks. The Academy produces musicals only, but if you join the ongoing workshop, they team up playwrights with composers and lyricists to collaborate on projects together.
