well theres sperm and sciemen, i think the sciemen is workin it and doin its job, but by the time ur energy is down, thats when u are thinking that "damn, its not workin"

Well, you may be working too hard or it is a possibility that you are depressed and have a lowered sex drive. You could also be stressed out. Any of these things could cause what you are talking about.
If you don't have as much concentration as you used to, or your memory is bad then you are probably depressed. If this is the case then see your doctor.
If this only started after taking a certain medication then the medication could be the cause of your problem.
If it is not any of these things then you are probably not getting the proper stimulation.
