Without a doubt in my mind it'll be Batista when he returns. I don't know how they'll do that, but he'll be champion again. He may turn heel on his first night by attacking Rey and telling him that he told everyone that he was coming back for the title! That would be awesome! If not Batista, then I don't know who else. Maybe Booker T or The Undertaker, but I haven't seen Undertaker since Judgment Day and Booker T(King Booker) doesn't seem to show interest in the title. So, in my opinion, Batista will return and within a couple of months he'll be champion again!

I agree the next champ will be Baptista for Smackdown. Of course, John Cena will win the belt back from Edge (when he wins it at Vengeance) at Summerslam for RAW.
However, the person I think they are really grooming for the future is Bobby Lashley.

Well its gonna be Batista vs. Mark Henry at their next PPV, so either Batista or Mark Henry will be the next one. Mark doesnt win it this Friday tho.
