i am 13 years old and i have stretch marks?? i don't know why because i am not fat and these stretch marks are all over my hips and they are embarrasing. do stretch marks ever fade??? will they ever go away? i need real answers not some dumb answers that don't make any sense!

i also am 5'6 and i am still growing and i believe i grew 3 inches this year.

you're getting stretchmarks because you're growing...they will fade, mine faded completely...although later on in life if you gain a lot of weight at one time (like pregnancy) they will return

I got stretch marks when I got corticosteroid poisoning. I had been using a cream to fight a rash, for a long time, without knowing it had corticosteroids in it. As soon as I stopped using the cream, I started losing weight and bloat. There are creams for pregnant women to help keep the stretch marks soft to make them fade. Check out your drug store.
Have you had a recent growth spurt? That may have been the cause.

First off stretch marks are caused because the skin actually rips instead of stretching. That's why when women get prego or gain or lose an good deal of weight quickly the skin can't stretch quick enough so it rips.
Secondly depending on how dark your skin tone & how severely they are it is possable that giving your age it is totally possable for them to heal completely, good luck!

It will take a long time. There's a cream called Mederma that you can get a drugstores and if you put it on 3-4 times daily it will help them fade
