Here it is in a nutshell:

N Korea was allowed and given certain nuclear technologies in the 90's by America and the international community - while required to be "transparent" to the international community, namely the IAEA and UN. They decided to kick out inspectors over 3 years ago, which is a violation - and have resumed, insecrecy programs that could lead to a long range missle and or warhead that is both a violation and again - not being monitored by the IAEA or UN.

Their recent threats to test a missle is also in violation of the IAEA and NPT (non proliferation treaty) - thereofre violating international law.

This isnt just an American issue - for we are requesting talks with China, Russia, Japan and other members involved - of which they rejest and want 1 to 1 with America only.

North Korea is controlled by a communist dictator who the USA doesn't like. North Korea is a threat to the USA's ally, South Korea. Currently North Korea is in the process of planning to test a missile that may (or may not) be able to reach Alaska or even Seattle.

Nuclear missiles are bad. Countries can have nuclear missiles if they are God-fearing democracies, which North Korea isn't. North Korea is bad.

They are a Communist regime that wants to develop nuclear weapons, and we'd really rather they didn't.

Brief enough?
