Do you really know who Charles Manson is? If you did ,the word respect and his name would not be in the same sentence. I suppose you think Hitler is a god.
Why don't you research these "people"? Maybe you won't "respect" them so much. In fact, why don't you look up the meaning of respect in the dictionary!!

You should see that independent film about him. Can't remember the name.
Post-acopalypse generation finds a copy of Helter Skelter (written by Charles Manson) and interpret its beliefs like the Bible. Supposed to be really good movie.

I don't respect the man for being the head of a violent & murderous cult... for having a swastika on his forehead... for looking crazy with that looney smile... or even for wearing that jailbird orange suit...
I like nothing about him, except the fact to expose idiots in our country and beyond who do like him... FBI & police will be watching his fans, be sure of it.

I think any man who can convince a bunch of people of anything he so desires, deserves recognition.. but only to teach others to quit being so easily manipulated by cults/organized religion.
He gets a 1.2 on my respect scale, simply for uncovering an important life-lesson to all - which others have as well.
