Test it on the inside of your forearm to make sure you won't burn the crap out of yourself when you heat it!!!

Avoid showering and making the hair wet prior to waxing. Hair absorbs the water making it soft and less likely to adhere well to the wax. Tough hair is easier to pull off.

Be sure to test a small area of skin first to make sure there is no acute sensitivity or allergic reaction to pubic hair removal using waxing.

Hair should be at least 1/8 inch long. If it isn't wait until it reaches this length.

Be sure to wash the skin thoroughly and dry it well beforehand to remove any lotions or oils which may prevent the wax from adhering closely to the skin.

Heat the wax carefully so as not to overheat and thus burn the skin when applying. Test on a small area first.

The consistency should be soft rather than runny.

If pain and discomfort is a main concern use a pain reducing gel or cream available from pharmacists. These solutions should be applied 30 to 60 minutes before waxing so the skin is numbed beforehand.

Apply a thin layer of wax in the direction of the hair growth and peel back with a rapid movement close to the skin.

Do not pull up or out, rather pull back.

Clean the skin with a warm moist towel afterwards to remove excess wax.

* Choose your product. There are waxes or sugar solutions available.
* Read instructions thoroughly... twice.
* If product needs to be heated, do so for suggested time.
* Test the temperature so that you don't burn yourself.
* Check legs to be sure that they are dry. This is very important.
* For first time waxers, apply a thin layer of wax/sugar solution in a small area of the leg following hair growth direction.
* Press muslin strip onto leg.
* At the bottom of the strip (closest to your foot), turn a small area back against the strip. It should be resting flat against the strip about to be removed.
* Lift the end as instructed and pull back toward you. Do not pull up. Pulling back is the correct procedure.
* Bite down on your lip GENTLY. The pain will ease up in a second or two. ;)
* Repeat procedure if you have missed a few hairs.
* Continue the leg until you are hair free!

After heating up your wax, sit the tub in a bowl of hot water, cos if the wax starts to cool it will harden, making it difficult to use.

Do a samll area first untill you are confident with the wax

Always pull the skin taut with your spare hand.

When you pull the strip off, take a short, sharp breath, and use quite a bit of strength!

When you pull, make sure you keep the strip parralel to your skin, pulling upwards or away from your skin can cause bruising.

when you pull, always pull AGAINST the hair growth, i.e leg hair hair grows down, so pull up

Have an after wax lotion, aftersun, or anything with aloe vera or tea tree in it to apply to the skin afterwards to soothe it.

Good luck!

A good tip is to apply a little bit of powder before you apply the wax so it doesn't hurt so much. Also, start bottom to top, this makes it easier to see what you're doing so far. And try not to pull the wax "up" but close to your skin

Always pull off wax strips in the opposite direction to the hair growth and do not try try to do big wax strips like a pro always small = less pain.

Take it back and get a refund. Trust me, those home wax kits are not worth the money. I tried it once and after tearing the top layer of my skin off, I will never do it again. I always go to a salon and have it done. It's worth the money to me.

Some thing are best left to the experts.I have tried waxing at home and it is not as easy as it looks, ingrowing hairs are a problem when the hair grows back.
Ask friends and go to a good recommended beautician.

i reccomend having someone who knows how to do it. Like your mom or sister or something. because giving it to yourself HURTS and in some cases you wont pull hard enough that you can damage your skin. so unless you have the power to pull with all your strength then have someone else do it
