Well see, I see my ex from when I was 13 and I still get butterflies in my stomach. Am I the only one who is living that same experience?

My boyfriend thinks his first love is his true love..but you never end up with them. But..you can also have a deep love for another maybe even deeper..and your first love can still be your true love. I don't know...I think there's something special about the first person you ever loved..it's a new experience, a new feeling, and I think maybe part of it's falling in love w/the feeling. It's like experiencing anything for the first time..then the more you do it, you get used to it and it's not as exciting you already know those feelings.

Not sure my ex-fiance said the same thing about the butterflies, but she went running off to another guy, I guess it's just how your heart, mind and gut feel at the same time.

I'm not sure. I still think about my ex every so often and get butterflies when I see him but I
do not belevie we could work. I do beleive your first love is unforgetable and you will always remember it. Cherish those merories

No, you are not the only one who lives this experience, however that doesn't mean he is your true love. My first love isn't my true love.

Your first love is not true love - because if it was you would be together. You just need to move on - one sided love is a waste of time.

It can happen, but it depends on the people and their relationship. But if you feel like you still love them and they love you, then it might work out. Just try to follow your head and heart equally.
