I have heard you can use Downy in a spray bottle. You could also try vinegar.

Liquid fabric softener. You can dilute it with water and perforate the remaining wallpaper to help the process along (there is a special 'thing' that does this). It works fairly well.

Your iron. Yeah, the one you iron your clothes with. Works great! Just steam it and remove gently with a utility blade.

Use liquid fabric softener and warm water. Apply with a sponge. It will loosen the glue.
A steamer will work also if you have one.
