It could be stress, but she should go get a test to be sure.

Most likely, your girlfriend is pregnant. But, one cause may be she is anemic. Anemia can cause women to skip at least one, if not more, periods per year. If she is an atlete of any kind, and she drops body fat, that will also stop periods. If your girlfriend takes a test, and it shows she is not pregnant, consult a doctor immediately. It could be a tubial pregnancy. In some cases, tubial pregnancies will show that you are not pregnant with a home pregnancy test, but you will not have a period either. Better to be safe than sorry. I don't know a lot about the morning after pill, but since it is a new drug, it could have this type of side effect, and the doctors haven't discovered it yet.

I don't know much about the morning-after pill, but any woman can be late once in a while, even if she's usually very regular. Sometimes, that just happens. If you're that worried, you could get a pregnancy test. By 11 days late, that would definitely tell you (but, again, find out if the morning after pill would affect her hormone level and give a false reading.) Try webmd.com or drkoop.com, something like that, for medical info.

Stress, depression, or maybe an eating disorder. If she is into working out, strenuous exercise could also cause a late or missed period. Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how u look at it, I think your GF is pregnant. Babies are a blessing though, I just had one 6 weeks ago. Better get a test to be sure then decide the next course of action from there.

She should take a test.

What else could it be? It could be that she's over stressed herself, over exerted herself (like over-exercising) - these can often cause a late or missed period (some olympic athletes dont get periods at all because of how much they exercise -they over stress the body), miscalculated when her last period is....there are lots of reasons for a period to be late. I've only taken the morning after pill once and I dont remember my period being late but pregnancy tests are cheap and easy to find so buy her one and find out so you dont have to keep wondering.

its normal i had this problem 2 the first time i took i t i didint even get my period til the next month what happens is she either took the ecp pill too late like its most effective within 72 hours of "the accident" if she took it after that then her chances are higher, but what it is, is a concentrated dose of birth control so its very strong and could knock u off whack for a while

Depending how late she took the pill it might not have worked.. You should get her tested if its false it might just be from stress, sex, pretty much anything can mess ur cycle up.
