you need at least 6 to move on...

Matches played, wins, draws, losses, goals for, goals against, points (3 for a win, 1 for a draw).
And you don't need 6 to move on, as Mexico is moving on with only 4 points.

hmm don't play soccer but those look amazingly similar to the stats on the back of baseball cards...
