when it's set to silent? I never seem to lose the stupid thing when it's turned up all the way, and not because I can hear the ringer. It doesn't ring much anyway. But today I needed it and I couldn't find it, all because I turned it to vibrate while I was at the car dealership and hadn't turned it back up. Why, oh WHY, does this always happen?!?

Might I mention that I am responsible enough for a cell phone. I'm 22 and have had a phone for 6 years. This was meant as a joke question, I'm sure the phone will turn up in one of it's usual places (I do keep it in one of TWO spots). And I also don't see the need to spend $400 on a cell phone when the one I got for $29.95 does what I need it to do-make phone calls. I don't need a phone that washes the dog, makes my coffee and does my job for me.

Also, the point of setting it for vibrate was so I wouldn't disturb people near me. Otherwise I would have left the ringer on.

ok, so just out of curiosity why would you not want a phone that washes your dog AND does your job for you? it would practically pay for itself! lol just kidding, but that would be cool

Partially just good ol' Murphy's Law, but try this (which I actually do now because I have a relatively expensive phone and don't ever want to lose it). Always put your phone in the exact same place. So for example, if it's in your purse, put it in the exact same place in your purse after every use. Or better yet, if you have pockets or a belt, put your phone in your pocket or get a belt attachment for it and keep it on your belt. Trust me, those options do work quite well.

I have a similar probelm but it is with not being able to hold onto it properly. I continuously drop the dang thing and now I have dropped it so much that it only works on speaker. I need a big bubble to go around it! Like maybe a key ring that has 2 buttons one for a bubble and one for a tracker so when I drop it i can push the bubble one and if you lose yours you can push the tracker one and it will beep for you!

Because you are not an responsible person. Try buying a more expensive wireless phone (400+), and I bet you will keep it close and safe....

Because your not responsible enough to handle a cellphone. You are always so busy. You are always into stuff that you forget about your cellphone. In other words your not ready to handle a cellphone. No offence.

be persistent and consistent about where you keep it. have only a few places, i.e. in handbag, on desk, etc.. or just get one of those electronic key finder things so when you do misplace it you can press a button and it will emit sounds directing you to it
