Try helping them with chores around the house and improve your grades. That way, you are showing them you are being responsible and you can take care of the pet yourself.

First, don't get a pet until you know you're ready to care for it. They require tons of work. You may care for it, but it's vet bills are gonna be paid by your mom and dad. So you have to do an equal trade-- learn about what kind of dog you want. Once you figure it out, Try talking to some breeders about the proper care for them. I always suggest volunteering at an animal shelter, it gives you a lot of hands on experience w/ dogs beforehand. Plus you're helping them out so that's a good feeling. Also, you can always volunteer and as soon as you see a little dog you want, let your parents know. That way you are saving a life AND getting a pet!

It depends on what you age is and how responsible you are to take care of it and clean up after it. I don't know to many fuzzy animals except bears. Remember fussy fuzzy was a bear . Just kidding around. Cats are pretty independent and kinda fuzzy when they are a kitten. Ask your parents to take you to the library to do research on a few animals that they think would be OK for you to have. Remember: If it is a cat, it will live maybe 17 years.

First suck up to the more generous parent by doing chores and volentering to help them all the time then remind them how helpful you've been and how much you would love a pet and you would look after it really well.Tell them it can be small like a mouse or a cute hamster and if they are feeling kind ask for a kitten or a puppy.I did it with my dad and it got me a dog a mouse and a dwarf hamster. So that proves that it works!!!!!!!!!!!!

Help them around the house. Don't talk back to them. When they say do something, do it. Tell them what you will do and how you will take care of your pet. Or show them some responsibility and raise the money yourself to buy a pet, but don't get anything that will scare them. Try a puppy or a kitten, or even a hamster. Dwarf hamsters are the cutest! I'm getting one!

Do something to prove that you are REALLY responsible, and then start off small. A really great way to do this is to petsit for a friend and show your parents that you really are capable of taking care of a pet.
Hope it works!
