A terrorist is someone who wants to destroy the legitimate government of a nation. In contrast, when George Washington and the Continental Army fought the British, they could not be considered terrorists, but freedom fighters. Why? Because the British did not allow the colonists to elect their own government, and because the British had abused the guaranteed rights of the colonists.

Do you see the difference?

Iraq now has a legitimate, democractically elected government. All Muslims are encouraged to take part in the political process. However, the terrorists do not want to share power. They want absolute power for themselves. They do not care about the collective will of the nation. They are selfish. They are fascists. Allah would spit in their faces for killing fellow Muslims.

Below is the answer I gave to another question recently regarding this subject:

In a 60-Minutes episode, Lesley Stahl interviewed some teenage boys attending an elite English-style Prep School in their home country (Pakistan or India; I forgot which).

Lesley asked the boys about 9-11, and I think was expecting a sympathetic response, considering they were receiving a Western style education. However, the boys just began spouting jihadist nonsense about how the U.S. was getting what it deserved, and started a vitriolic verbal attack on how bad the U.S. is, emphasizing how the U.S. mistreated Muslims around the world.

Now, you have to keep in mind that 60-Minutes is a very liberal show, so I expected Lesley to commiserate with the boys and give them a tearful, Barbara Walters moment. Instead, in a surprising lack of composure, Lesley Stahl looked at these boys squarely in the eyes and said something like, "ARE YOU CRAZY? All the United States has done is PROTECT Muslims! What about all the time, money and effort we've expended to defend Muslims from slaughter in Bosnia, Somalia, Palestine, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Sudan. How about our staunch defense of Muslims against Slobodan Milosevich?"

It was a classic moment in tv history: the liberal journalist reading the riot act to a bunch of pampered, spoiled kids who didn't know what they were talking about.

I can only assume you are just joking around or you have completely gone nuts.. I hope it is the former....

Actually 99.9% of people do not consider all muslims who speak out against the US terrorists... What people consider terrorists are musilms that use allah's name to kill innocent people... (now for all the people who say President Bush is killing innocent people shut up, its not an argument because the US does not intentionally kill innocent people, where islamic terrorists do). We do not want other countries to bow down before us.. we want dmecratic elected governments. IS that so wrong to have freedom across the world, or do you not beleive in freedom?

Now lets start blowing away your stupid points:
"Bush said in a speech 4years ago that he sits at the right hand of the GOD....."

Please give the reference for that speech...

catholic church has also said that Bush should be a saint
Umm the majority of the catholic church is liberal and against Bush, the Pope has even said the war in Iraq is wrong... And im catholic, and I never heard any mention that they want him to be a saint....

Again please give references...

"the christian nation of american says that Bush is a divine being sent from GOD to save the world from islam and terrorist "

Where is there a reference that anyone said Bush was a divine being.....

You say you will never support America and its killing of Muslims, but do you support the Islamic militants in their killing of Jews, Christians, Hindus, and other Muslims??? Do you support that?

Terrorism isn't disagreeing with America. It isn't hating America, It isn't even taking up arms and attacking America. You want to go to war with America, feel free. We're 13 for 14. Good luck with that.

Terrorism is about blowing up a bus filled with school kids, or a hotel filled with innocent people on vacation. Terrorism is about slaughtering innocent civillians because you lack the courage to attack an army.

If you don't believe in these things, than you're not a terrorist, you're just a Muslim who's pissed off at America. And that IS ok. You don't need to support us. 1/2 our own country doesn't even support us!

But before you get too angry you'd better check your facts. The Catholic church said Bush should be a saint? Never happened. where did you get that? And I've never seen Bush claim he stood at the "right hand of God".

So hate America! Go outside and scream to the world that you hate America. There are Americans all across this country willing to give up their lives so that you have the freedom to go outside and scream to the world that you hate America. We're funny that way.

I don't think the information about what Bush said or what we think of Bush as being right. It would also be easier to read your points if you used punctuation marks.
I don't worship anyone but my God too. Also, a Saint isn't anywhere near being God. As much as I respect Bush, I don't think he's anywhere near being a Saint. I am Catholic too. I don't think you are a terrorist just because you're Muslim. You have the right to protest. We can do that in this country. That's what freedom is all about. We don't get tortured or executed for that here.

I just had this conversation with my step father and he thinks a bomb should be dropped on all of your people over there because he said that you teaching promotes violence and that if you want to get to heaven you have to kill the infidels. I don't believe that all of your people want to kill to get into heaven but I think alot of people feel that way because it is always the actions of the few that make the biggest impact on the world. Take Abu Gaub, I'm not sure If I spelled that right so do kill me, LOL. Now that was just a small group of Americans involve in that but I'll bet you anything that most of the Muslims think all Americans are like that. So if you have a bunch of Arabs blowing stuff up we are going to feel the same about you. I don't know if you are terrorist or not but why would you say so be it if you where called one. There are good people on both sides of the Earth be smart enough to understand that. Don't let our Presidents politics and you countries politics dictate you mind. Be you own person. I didnt know they had spell check on this, lol

Bush is just a man that believes that Jesus is the son of God, so do I. No, I do not believe that Bush should be a saint, but what religious group bombed the Twin Towers more than once. What religious group is beheading people in the name of their God.
It is a stereo typing of Muslims that all of you are terrorist but, until all religions can get along and think that ALL life is sacred there will always be hatred and war.

First of all, America is not an empire... but anyways, I have never heard any of these allegations that you write about nor do I beleive you have a source to prove them to be true, if you do I apologize and would like to see that source.

We are fighting a righteous war and against terrorist that want to kill innocent people. You can argue this in any way you want but any sensible person will see how rediculous your side of the arguement is.

The great thing is about America is that you don't have to worship anyone because it is a free country, so your concern is only in your own concious. I also highly doubt that any Church honors Bush the way you speak of as no true Christian is to worship any idols.

Everyone has the right to express his/her opinion as long as it is not in violent way. Have a look at most major American cities and yuo find protests against Bush is held almost every week with no problem. The problem is when someone try to kill other people to express his/her opinion. This is where it is no more freedom of speach but a threat.

Well, now your full of misconceptions...

Let me set you straight.

The Catholic Church and the Pope are not declaring that President Bush is the 'next Saint'.

You have your facts wrong so dont listen to propoganda on that one, no matter what your Country men say.

President Bush got rid of Saddam Hussein. That was the objective of the war. Now, we are trying to get Iraq to establish thier OWN Government, so that we can LEAVE the Country. Until then, we are supporting them, and all the threat that the "outsiders" are bringing in with thier bombs and IED's to kill lots of Muslims and some Americans.

We are not against Muslims, we are against Terrorists that are attacking Iraq, and killing indescriminantly civilians.

GOD is GOD, no matter what you call HIM, ALLAH, JEHOVAH, or any other name, there is only one GOD, and that is the FATHER of us all.

We are all doing our part to rid the World of Terrorist. With people like Osamma Bin Ladin, who wants to "kill the infidels", (meaning anyone who is not Muslim), can we be safe? He is willing to sacrafice everyone to kill us, but himself !! He hides in the Mountains in Afsghanistan while he sends impressionable young men to blow themselves up, everywhere in the World, and sits back in his mountain retreat, having a good "joke" on the rest of the World.

I pray that you are not one of those impressionable men, and that you will have sense, to want to rid yourselves of the Terrorists that blow up innocent Iraqies, no matter who they are, so we can finally have our troops home.

I wish you well..

Jesse

Why do we consider you a terrorist? Let me see. Oh! Yeah! You choose to speak by blowing yourself and anyone else around you up. Start an intelligent conversation and maybe just maybe the world will listen.
