With the high possibility that Ghana will be facing Brazil in the knock-out round(last sixteen), what are their chances of progressing even further?
However, even if Ghana do make it to the quater-finals - they will have to wrestle it with Spain, provided Spain win their next match. To make matters even worse, in the semi-finals Ghana will have to get rid of England ~ one way or the other. As if that was not enough ~ in the final, they will have to face either Germany or Italy.
So it seems as if Ghana's next four games will be against Brazil, Spain, England and lastly Germany ~ if Germany makes it to the finals at Italy's expense.
There is plenty of fantastic football to look forward to these coming few days. It's owesome.

Ghana is a nation, that, up until this world cup, I didn't know had a decent soccer/football (take your pick) team. They've been in an interesting pool, the only one in which both round-of-sixteen spots were for the taking. Surviving that proves that they have the grit and stamina to play in this competition. Of course, the teams you've listed are all top 10 squads, and it would be a miracle that Ghana makes it to the final. But in soccer/football, you can throw as many statistics at a match as you want and have a totally different outcome. Remember, miracles do happen.

Ghana, lets face it, has had a simply brilliant opening round and they are to be congratulated and rightly proud.
Next they face BRAZIL! Referees favoring Brazil! Its BRAZIL, you idiot. Ghana couldn't defeat BRAZIL with a miracle from Mother Teresa AND an AK 47!
Brazil won't need no stinkin' referees! Right now its a serious question if ANYBODY could defeat Brazil, but if they do, it sure the Hell won't be Ecuador, Sweden, Portugal, Australia, Switzerland, Korea, Ukraine or GHANA! That you can put in the bank!

No, Brazil will beat Ghana in their next match. The referees will favor Brazil over Ghana.

Brazil is playing poorly, but I think they're still playing well enough to knock Ghana out. Ghana might be able to give them a scare, but they won't beat them.
