I have clients in Phoenix, I don't schedule visits there from Memorial Day until Early October. Dry heat my @$$, it gets way too hot for me.

It's been awhile since I've been to Phoenix, but if I recall, it was mighty hot.
I grew up there for awhile as a child, and in fact we lived right near cactus and scrub. I remember it always being really really hot and we only had a poor barely working swamp cooler.
So yeah, I think it's hot.
Not as hot here in Utah, but we get mighty close. We hit over 100 a few weeks back and we are consistently over 95 in the summer.
Hope that this helps.

ewww, just named the Sweatiest City in America
"For the second year in a row, Phoenix has earned the dubious honor of topping the Top-100 Sweatiest Cities list, a ranking of the nation's heaviest sweaters during the summer months as determined by researchers at Procter and Gamble."
