No. Trucks in Massachusetts are considered Commercial Vehicles and Storrow dr has no commercial traffic. You will get a ticket from the MDC police and there are also areas that have low overpasses and trucks cannot make it under these.

NO....NO....NO.... You can NOT drive a big truck on Storrow Drive in Boston. Storrow Drive is strictly for passenger cars only. If you disregard all of the "NO TRUCKS ALLOWED" signs and then you continue on Storrow Drive, you will strike any one of the numerous overhead structures and cause damage to your unit and to the overhead structures in itself. The police will arrive and you will be given motor vehicle citations plus you will be subject for an arrest and your vehicle will have to be towed from the scene. You will also be responsible for any structural damage as well. Then to top off by not having a very good day, you will be able to see yourself on the local evening news. You will be in the spot light and will be the "star event of the day" whereas, everyone will be able to see what a stupid move you had made just like the others have done before you.

Storrow Drive has overpasses, bridges etc. that only allow cars, pickups and small trucks (based on hieght - not type of vehicle). If you truck is small enough to fit in a parking garage - it is OK. There are chains that hang down before you get on - if you hit the chains - stop!!! or you will hit the bridges.

I have frequently been on Storrow (the last time was this Saturday), and I don't ever recall commercial trucks on there. It's a very narrow road, so I doubt it.
