I have recently got the WiFi Max in order to play online games via my Nintendo DS but cannot connect or get my DS to recognise it anyone have any ideas (i have followed all help I can find and am now hopelessly stuck)

Get the official Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Adapter, (manufactureed by Buffalo), this is much better.

As for connecting, this will all depend on your errors, if you can get me specific error messages, I'd be glad to help you.

Also, I recommend getting a decent wirless router such as the SpeedTouch 580x series.

As for the official device, it can be purchased from sites such as www.gameplay.com
Keep in mind also, that Nintendo do update their software to make it compatable with all of their latest and greatest online games.

Hi, if you get a good answer to this question could you pleeeeaaase let me know what it is?? My husband came home with a wifi usb for nintendo today and though it 'appears' to connect, it gives up at the lst mo. We looked at our firewall and still couldnt get anywhere. I was surprised when I came home from work and saw that he hadn't bashed the PC to pieces like he said he was gong to!!!

if you do not have a online conection server that goes trough the house(like in mcdonalds) i dont know but if you do you press ' nitendo wifi connection settings' you prees a connection like 'connection 1' then you press 'search far an acces point' then you should get the code of the server like i get 'speedtouch147E94' you press it , it will test and your done. mail me your code and we can race eachother.

i haven't got one but i might get one. what u do is go on the game, for example animal crossing, then u configure it so it recognises the ds.
