You can probably play most games on the shelf. The most important component for a 'super gamer' is the video card. The best gaming card on the market besides super 'CADers' are the Radeons and nVidias. Top of the line cards run around $700, SLI that and make that $1400 -- just for graphics! whew
You don't need to add RAM right now. If you want to upgrade your video card, this is a link to one that can handle anything!

You have a very nice PC and it should do fine on most any game. Just make sure to find out the games requirements and whether or not your PC will meet those requirements. Your computer is specifically made for home entertainment, but will do great on most games.

And the specs of it would be.... I (and anyone who wants to answer this question) needs to know:
Processor
Memory
Graphics
Hard Drive
Well, I couldn't find the m7250n but I did manage to look up the m7350n, if it is any indication you will need to make one change to your system. The m7350n has a Geforce 6200SE graphics card with up to 256MB Turbcache memory. All in all a horrible graphics card. That would be your only limiting factor as to playing games. You would have to step up to something like a Geforce 7600GS or 7600GT for any serious gaming.
Per highendsystems down there, you definetly need a better graphics card. Again, the 7600GS or 7600GT. Other specs are fine, just please get a better graphics card.

You could go on the internet. Or subscribe to a music service. Or play some of the games that came with your HP. (They're in a program called either Wildtangent GameChannel or HP Game Console)

Well it depends on which drives, graphics software and video cards you have. If you want, buy or borrow a game and try it out. If you are happy with the video and sound, you're ok. If the computer wont let you play and requires a higher or faster card, you should search google for a new or refurbished one from a trustworthy company.
good luck gaming Nick

home entertainment.....probably need to upgrade your ram and also will need to get a high end video card..it all depends on what type of games you want to play......most newer games that you buy a disc for ask for a minimum of 512mb ram but usually requires more for optimum performance. if you like to play online games the computer should be sufficient the way it is...

The HP Media Center m750n was designed specifically for entertainment.
It can certainly be used to play games, but it was not specifically designed to do so.
hope that helps.
