Damaged skin has to peel off... what you can do is keep the area moisturised (freshly squeezed aloe juice is the best - get yourself an aloe plant), and once it's not too tender, massage GENTLY with a soft bath brush to help it all slough off.

You need to go ahead and let it peel, but make sure that you are giving your skin loads of moisture. Banana boat makes an excellent lotion with Vitamin E and Aloe in it for sunburns. Try that.

really its the body's way of getting rid of old and damaged skin, but to reduce the look of peeling apply some aloe Vera or a lotion...keep the area moisturized!!

Put lotion on it from the very begining...do it a few times a day. It may not prevent it completly but it will make it a lot better!

Actually there is no way to prevent it completely. However, drink plenty of clear liquids and use cortisone cream.

Moisturize...unless you have burned badly enough to blister...then nothing will stop it.
