I wonder why some stay at home mom's houses are such a mess!
their kids can never find anything clothes shoes, bathing suits anything...
I have a full time job I work 12 hours a day 5 days a week and my house is Clean the laundry and dishes are done. I don't have help
so what's the deal what do you do all day Get your kids to help Make them listen! My do!
If my kids take something out they put it back where they got it from when they are done!!!
To all you mom's who have kids and A hectic schedule I know it is hard work but how long does it take to do some laundry and sweep the floor people think that it is such hard work it takes no time at all if you keep on top of it but if you never do it. It can get to be so overwhelming that you don't even know where to begin!
I am by no means a clean freak but I keep my things clean and can find stuff and my kids things!
So what's your excuse? why can you never finds your kids things when you are at home 24-7 with them

I am a full time mom with an infant. I don't have an excuse, but it is hard to watch after my 11 month old and keep house at the same time. I do although try to pick up everynight before I go to bed. If the child is under 5 then I could see it being hard to keep clean during the day, but older than 5 they should know how to pick up after themselves. It isn't hard to take 10 or 15 minutes picking up before going to bed.

Yes, you may be that way...

But, is there LOVE IN THE HOUSE???

I find that some people, who house is a mess, are there with thier kids having a great time, in all that mess, playing with thier kids, and romping around with them and the house looks like a total rampage, but, there is so much love in the house that its tremendous...

Then, I have seen a lot of houses, that the kids are like military men, the house is spotless, and the mom and dad work and the kids dont have anything to do with the house because they leave it, most the day, and get into trouble and drugs and there is no love in the house what so ever, just shouting if the dishes arent done or the house is the least bit messy...

I rather the cluster and mess, and the house be full of love then a spotless barracks and no love at all...

I wish you well..

Jesse

Well, isn't that just lovely for you.... I actually have a life so I don't clean my house constantly. There are dishes in the sink and unwashed clothes waiting to be washed. When I have spare time, I do these things. Otherwise, I am busy doing volunteer work and helping my friends. There is more to life than having a clean house and scaring your kids into becoming boastful, fault-finding "model citizens" like yourself. And some people weren't lucky enough to have parents teach them how to get organized. You shouldn't make people feel bad for not having Martha Stewart houses. If you want to fix the problem, help these women and get down off of your pedestal. And get over yourself.

I think mostly the problem of getting the children to listen. Because they can put some things in strange places. Like one shoe in the living room and the other under the bed. I think mostly its a problem of diciplining the children.
Work all day as well with a clean house.

I don't blame moms that have infants. I know that's hard work that is difficult to get used to.

I'm lucky to keep up dishes / laundry / vacuuming... that's what's in my daily routine -- so that's what gets done(usually). Just assume that what's not getting done is simply not in the routine of 'some stay at home mom's.' I'm not able to stay home w/ my second child, but if I could -- bet; I'd be there chasing him around & playing w/ him. Cleaning? bah.

That is one of my biggest pet peeves. People that stay at home all day and don't have a clean house. You have to think about the stay at home dads too though...My fiance will stay at home all day when he's off (he works construction) and sometimes the house looks worse at the end of the day!

Wow... you might be overly tired and cranky from all the work and cleaning you are doing. You might want to take a nap.
