Based on EA GAME's simulations, the Czechs beat Brazil in the final. Of course, we all know about Czech now, don't we?
I think Germany will be the team to beat Brazil in this tourney. They have the hometown advantage... after all France beat Brazil in similar situation in 1998.

Brazil beat Germany in 2002 rather convincingly..but I think Argentina, Portugal, England and Netherlands are teams Brasil would rather not face soon...not that they couldn't beat any of them...but they are still trying to get their act together...and they'll have Ghana to think about in the next round...

yes many teams can, brazil has been playing very poorly and i think that ghana has a chance to defeat them, but if ghana doesnt i think argentina and germany have good chance in beating them. Brazil is not playing the traditiional brazilian type of soccer, there is not as much flash, it is just to slow and they need tempo to defeat the better teams in this competition

The only team that has a real good shoot of beating the brazilian team is Argentina. That's because the argentinians have absolutely no respect for the yellow shirt.
No respect = No fear = Sure win.

yes i have 2...Germany and Argentina! Brazil is washed up there not winning it this year. Watch out for Portugal to.

Argentina is my bet. They are just too damn good and arent fielding over the hill "legends" for the sake of fielding them. Great offense, defense, middle field, goalie and soccer IQ. IN my opinion, Brazil is hyped and you may see them exit early next round. Ghana is no fluke - considering their top 2 scorers werent even playing today. And they have probably the best goalie - Kingson.

The way they're playing now I think Germany, Italy, Holland and Argentina could each beat them. They seem to have lost their drive and they're gonna pay.
