Don't do it until you know you are ready!! Rushing into things will not make things better, only worse. You will know when you are ready. Speaking from experience, I waited almost a year from separation. It sometimes depends on how things happened last time, was the divorce a surprise or had it been bad for a while? Good Luck, and have fun with dating. Don't let anyone pressure you into it until you are ready...;)

If your ready then you know your ready. If you nervous about going out with another girl some places have a night set up for divorced people to meet other divorced people a lot of times it is clubs that hold that. At least if you go to a place like that you will not have to worry about the gal not understanding your divorce.
If that is not an option go clubbing your young enough. JUST DO NOT FORGET THAT YOU HAVE A DAUGHTER SPEND AS MUCH TIME WITH HER AS YOU CAN SHE SHOULD COME FIRST DATING SECOND.
