no i didn't say i hated tom cruise. tom cruise is a great actor. unless you can act better than he can, you shouldn't be talking.

I agree with Mara...with the exception of Eyes Wide Shut, and the only reason why this movie was good was because of his ex-wife, Nicole Kidman's performance. Tom Cruise lacks depth as an actor and relies solely on his so called good looks. When I see a movie of his advertised, I don't rush to see it at the movie theatre. I'd rather wait until it comes out on cable.
Now advertise a movie starring Nicholas Cage, Johnny Depp, Clive Owen or George Clooney and I'll be first in line to see it at the movies.

It has to be "Interview With the Vampire." Did the casting directors not understand that Lestat was supposed to be tall (poor little Tom is 5'7") and blonde? Anne Rice has said she thought of him a little like a younger Rutger Hauer. They could have simply switched the Brad Pitt role and let him be Lestat while Tom played Louis, but no. What idiots!

I liked War of the Worlds but that "spiritual" gibberish he can bottle and sell to a band of traveling gypsies. That scene in War of the Worlds where he goes in and kills the nut job who wouldn't be quiet classic.

Most of his movies stink, because he is so full of himself, he always flies off into a screaming fit. And how is it that his new "wife" can get pregnant when his first and second wives could not????? He is just too weird, he needs anger management classes, acting skills, and a personality.

i'll deal with him in jerry maguire, MI, Collateral. other than that he should not act. he annoys me for some reason. MI:2 was the worst movie ever, imo.

most of his films esp during and after the 90s.... war of the worlds could have been good (despite dakota's contant screaming), he did good in interview w/ the vampire though...... :( too bad
