I mean it dosen't make any sense black men get the short end of the stick in every situation. People look at and carefully scrutinize their faults when a lot of other race men do the same but the black man is the only one talked about in a negative way then a lot of the same people turn around and talk, dress and do whatever the can to be and look like them. I see other races that wear their hate to the side, sag their pants, play thier music loud in a group of friends that all look like them not one being black. Certain people copy but don't want black friends and still have prejudice attitudes, I say if you are going to have a prejudice attitude find your own sense of fashion, why do whites have to steal everything from rock music to the word n i gga and then have the nerve to hate us. I know closed minded people are going to give me a lot of flack because of this but whatever its true so bring it on it's already expected of you.

Hey rebellious, yes I have portrayed the black man in that way but who said it was negative some people might look at it as negative but not I, that is style and I guess that is why a lot of non blacks copy. This just shows that you are brainwashed into thinking that those certain attributes I applied is negative.

BEN DOVER you have no idea what you are talking about there are more whites on welfare than blacks, find out for your self, and having children out of wetlock doesn't have anything to do with race blacks are just more prone to keep their children instead of put them up for adoption or abort and also white girls use birth control more heavily than black girls because or race is more religious we don't have as much abortions and where do you think we learned all the cuss words from whites we wasn't even speaking your language, you know nothing about black men disrespecting woman don't believe what you hear in music ( are you that stupid) black men don't treat women that way, I should know I grew up in the ghetto and am around black men all the time, they just act like they do in some of the music so that it will sell. There is a lot of positive hip hop music out there certain people just don't want it heard.

Gee, a lot of your questions is about race. You must really have a lot of racism going on around your surroundings or you only see the world in Black and White.

One way you can conquer racism is "Quit seeing the world in black and white" and "Quit bringing up prejudice questions and scenarios". I mean talking about the Janet Jackson incident that occured years ago does not help. It's time to move on. Believe me, Janet Jackson has moved on, why can't you?

You have just described your view of how other people/races copie black men, you ask why are they seen in a negative view, but you yourself have portraid black men as having hats to the side, playing loud music, sagging pants, haven't you just pointed out some attributes, or ideas you yourself believe to be connected with the black man, that are seen as a negative, it is not a black thing at all.

Prior to 1964, having children out of wedlock was NOT socially acceptable. Living on welefare was a court of last resort, NOT a way of life for generations of people who don't know their own fathers. Respect for women was instilled in the majority of young boys. Crude and foul language was NOT used in mixed company. Need I go on? All this changed after the Civil Rights Act of 1964 came into being, along with forced school busing. Suddenly everything and everyone who was black became fashionable to younger generations of whites. The bad behavior of a small minority became acceptable to the younger white majority. It became "cool" to have kids by many different girls. Who wouldn't like to sleep all day and play all night, with NO responsibility to society or the children they father. This is just the tip of the iceberg as to the many reasons that black men are so disliked.

I understand your frustration and not enough time to go into it.
But I can say I don't like this on any race, "...wear their hate to the side, sag their pants, play their music loud in a group of friends that all look like them not one being black" They need to pull up their pants and turn their music down. What is sexy or classy about baggy *** pants anyway? Perhaps this part of the problem.
I'm not a hater...I'm sure that's a black saying too, but I like it.
Remember imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

You go girl! Because what you said is real. I know the haters will try to tear you down but there is no denying what you are saying. I can name off the top of my head three copy cats in the rap industry: vanilla ice, slim shady, and bubba sparks and paul wall (well i guess that's 4). Any way, you make a great point. Haters don't hate! And if you black and you can't feel what she saying then you "really" need a reality check!

People believe stereotypes.
But when i really think about it - there does seem to be some type of freedom that black men demand for themselves whether society agrees or not. It is admirable.

I don't understand why people do that. I like all people as long as they are nice. It should not matter what color thier skin is because we all bleed the same. We are all the same on the inside. I have lots of colored friends, I have friends from all different kinds of backgrounds.

That's a gross generalization, not surprisingly as you are very aggresive in your question. Bring it on? What are you, 12?
