if heavan is closer to the sun and hell is underground why do people say "go burn in hell"

heaven is not closer to the sun....b/c it is not placed in the material universe.

When they say hell is underground they mean really far down. In the earth's core it is VERY hot, almost flames, so they say go burn in hell.

Actually, the center of the earth is hot, molten magma - so you WOULD burn if you were far enough "underground". Outer space can be very cold (as you get further from the sun, of course).

Because people know you don't burn in heaven. Hell is full of fire and brimstone and is closer to the core of the earth which is substantially hot.

well hell in the ground it is near the core!!
and the heaven isnt close to the sun read the bible!
yes its up in the sky but its not near the sun!

umm i dont think that heaven and hell are really places on/around earth. we cant really comprehend it. But hell is a bad place and people often times think of it as really hot so they can try to understand what its like.

cause hell is thought to be horrible and near the center of the earth (which is very hot) and it also has a rep of being a place full of fire.
