I've been in this section (Philosophy) for a few weeks now and to me, the common theme seems to be "human acceptance." What do you feel the theme has been?

Well, I haven't been in your class, but my classes have always resulted in a general acceptance of the golden rule.

Treat others how you would like to be treated. That was the only philosophy that wasn't easily dispelled.

In a way, your "human acceptance" fits well within that broader category.

I think you're right, although only in the broadest sense. I think there ought to be more empahsis on precise use of the English Language. The philosophy of communication needs to be established before other aspects of philosophy can be adequately discussed. I see too many anger answers resulting from misunderstandings of the questions.
