I would like to plant some Queen Annes lace and daylillies in my yard but do not know how to go about it. I am assuming you would dig up the bulbs on the daylillies, but is there a proper time of year to do it? And just HOW prolific are they? I do not want them to take over. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Daylilies are beautiful, however, they are very prolific. If they are all you are planting in a flower bed, they will be very happy and spread to fill the bed. They can be transplanted anytime with no problem.

Can't give you any help on the Queen Anne's Lace. I think it produces seeds after it blooms.

I have great luck with Daylilies. I can give you lots of advice if you need it. You can replant them any time of the year if you have enough water. My email is beach_man_45@yahoo.com. Check out the lilies on my website.
