I have a song that I wrote years ago and I need to get it to a country music artist. Preferably George Jones or Sammy Kershaw. It is a true song. Something that actually happened. Please someone out there help me to know how to contact someone to get this song going.

The first thing I think you should do is get your song copyrighted. If not and you send it to a singer or songwriter to try to get it published they could steal it and all your efforts would be in someone else's pocket. I know there are a lot of places in Tennessee that will copyright songs and put them on demo discs for the stars to preview. After that, try going to a concert and talking to your preferred singer. If they let you sing some of your song or read it and they like it they will tell you what you need to do for them to publish it.

go to their website and contact their management. However, they're always approached by people wanting songs and some that write their own music won't listen to ANY music. This is so it can never be said they infringed on anything or took an idea from anyone.
