Okay, jimi hendrix, jimmy page, eddie van halen, Steve Vai and yes Yngview are not considered Heavy metal guitarists !!!. They are Hard Rock Guitarists but not heavy metal !!!! Rhoads & LaRocque are yes heavy metal guitarist. So if you were to ask me who are the Greatest Heavy metal guitarists in no particular order: Randy Rhoads - Vivian Campbell - Played with Dio & Black Sabbath for a short time (Yngview even gives credit to Vivian as playing the fastest notes on a guitar in an interview a few years back) Kirk Hamet -
