Is it natural to still want friends after you found your life partner? I am a female and want female friends to go shopping with and out for coffee and movies, but my husband thinks I'm not happy with him because of it.He's got friends and people he can call even though they are a few states away, I have no one, and I'm a housewife,it's boring cleaning house, grocery shopping and watching tv.I grew up basically as an only child and always made friends with people around me and now I feel guilty for wanting a sisterly kind of friend.

of course its natural. everyone needs someone they can get away from the guys with. just tell your husband that you're happy with him, but you'd like to have some other friends for those girly kinds of things.

Wow he sounds really really controlling and oppressive. Very jealous...bad signs, all point to a cheater...watch out for the red flags.
