I never called her much or played with her when we were kids.She was the first one to take me to a club with a fake ID. I was terrified the whole time. She would always play mean tricks on me when we were kids. Something like an older sister does. She is 3 years my senior. So she has exposed me to some things I really wasn't ready for. I literally would avoid her sometimes. Yet she has kept in contact with me all these years. I grew to have a deep conection with her. Especially since she is my longest kept friend. She is like family. She asked me to be her childs godmother which I accepted. But now she loads me down with requests to attend her childs first this and that and spend money for things. I'm not cheap but I'm not a bank. I have given her children presents. I asked her to be in my wedding as matron of honor. She declined telling me she couldn't afford it. Her excuse her husband is the only with a job taking care of her and two kids. He is E6 military. Is she really my friend?

it doesn't sound like you respect her either, you slag her off and then say she is like family. i don't think you are good friends at all, from your actions and hers.
