love is complex because your putting 2 different people and trying to make them compromise. Sometimes there are misunderstandings because of one of you, both of you, or someone else who is trying to break up the relationship. You have to understand each other and sometimes that is really hard. Also you can't really say you love someone until your sure that you would do anything to be with them and that you would give up your life for thier sake. Love is about sacrifice, mixed feelings and other mushy stuff. Sometimes you love someone in a special way, but they don't reciprocate and that is very hard to get over. And those are just a few reasons why love is so complex.

Because if it was simple we'd get bored. It's the reason we pursue people different than ourselves & love the excitement of the chase. It's also part of why we hate arranged marriages.
