Okay, I'm getting my first manicure soon. I haven't done it before because I chewed my nails, and they were too bad to get that done. I was just wondering how long the manicure would last, because I have a summer camp the next week, and I want my nails to look good. I don't want fake nails, just polish, probably a french manicure. How long will it go without chipping and stuff?

I got my toes done 3 and a half weeks ago and they still look great!! I mainly depends on making sure that you let them dry as long as they should and how active you are.

French manicures do not last that long unless you take care of them. Something about the oils in your nails. If you put a couple more coats of clear polish on top it will last longer. If you want a manicure that will last a couple of weeks or more, then go with a full color like red, pink, etc.

I get my nails done every other week.

Depends on how long you act dainty and girl-like. If you are rough with your hands the polish will chip faster. A French manicure probably will be best because most of the nail is a natural color and won't show chips as bad. Best wishes =)

Generally, they should be good for at least a month. Some ppl get them done more often, but any manicure worth its salt will last at least this long. Enjoy your summer camp!

depends on what you do with your hands and how your nails take to the polish. when i get my nails done, the polish starts pulling off within 48 hours. ask your manicurist. you might want to get them touched up before you go to camp.
