Yes, they're definitely worth it! Typhoon Lagoon is my favorite of the two Water Parks. I can't swim (doggy-paddle, kind of,) so I'm always freaked out by water. But surprisingly, my favorite part was the surf pool. It has one of the world's largest wave machines. I also love the Crush 'n' Gusher water coaster. And of course, the lazy river that goes around the entire park. Blizzard Beach is great, too. It has the fastest, tallest free-fall body slide in the world! There's plenty of stuff to do at each Water Park to keep you entertained for a whole afternoon. I always add the Water Park option. It's well worth it.

I think so. If you like the water, and swimming, it is definitely worth it. The pools at Disney are great, but you can't get what you can at a waterpark. The parks are a lot of fun.
If you are getting a Disney Ticket, you may consider adding the Water Parks and More option. You will be ahead with costs after two visits to the waterparks, you can also go to DisneyQuest, which is also a lot of fun. The cost to add it on that way is really inexpensive and it gives you more options and visits.

Oh of course they are! Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are unlike any water park anywhere in the nation. I love Typhoon the most and am headed there this next week. It's only $34 for a ticket to either water park. Typhoon offers snorkleing with fish and sharks (little non biting ones), one of the nation's largest wave pool, and a sandy beach! Blizzard Beach has one of the nation's tallest plunging water slides and a great family raft ride! Also, they allow you to bring coolers with food into the parks if you wish, so you can save money that way.
Have a great time!

Definitely. We are going to DW for Halloween week. The more time you spend there, the more time you have to do things. If you have enough time, yes, spend the extra $ for the water parks and Pleasure Island, Downtown Disney. I've been before and truly have great memories of the waterparks. DW has two water parks and one will be down for a few months after the summer, so make sure you check their website. But I still recommend it for the one waterpark and all the other places.

If you like water parks then yes, Disney's water parks (Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach) are the best in Orlando in my opinion. Typhoon Lagoon has a wave pool that can produce 6ft waves I believe. The main differences between the two is Typhoon Lagoon's wave pool and Blizzard Beach has more water rides/slides. Keep in mind though the water parks are not open all year round.

I am not a big fan of any water park, so I have never been to the Disney ones, even though I go to DisneyWorld every year. If I did like that type of park, I would DEFINITELY spend the cash and go.
You might check into it to see if it would cheaper to buy "park hopper" passes. Then you could do part of the day at one of the other parks , then go to the water park, or vice versa.

I have only been to Typhoon Lagoon and I remember it being fun, however I was young. If you love water parks then I would go, as I feel Disney does everything very well. I am not into water parks any longer, so I choose to visit MK and Epcot

I think so.we go every year and always hit one of the waterparks. The kids love it ,ages 19, 16 and 11 and my wife and i love them too!We usually buy the waterpark days in with the hoppers and no expiration and if the weathers bad we can use them the next time.In reality its a lot of money to pay so is it worth it? At the going rate for parks and entertainment in disney world id say its worth it.The waterparks blow all of ours away around here!Typhoon lagoon is our favorite but we like blizzard beach alot also.have fun!!
