when I say "dating" they are really just hanging out. 11 year old boys cannot get anyone pregnant! Nothing happening in that dept just yet...

No advice needed yet- he's only 11. The friend will likely not care (because he is 11.) When he gets older, I would worry about a situation like this, he could get beat up.

Well just because someone people are dating doesn't mean that they are having sex. And yes an 11 year old can get a girl pregnant if hes started puberty. I really don't suggest you let him date because hes not smart enough, besides I really didnt start dating till i was 13 almost 14, when I started having some of my own features and girls did too.

My advice is that you do not allow him to date yet.
Allow him to be a child for a little longer.
Do not be in such a hurry for him to grow up. He will fly the nest soon enough.
I think a better age for him to be allowed to date is around 14 or 15 years of age.
I would allow him to invite this girl over to watch DVDs, play music & generally hang out but not exclusively & only when you are at home.

That`s way to young to date, still at primary school year 6! Try and encourage him just to be friends with this girl, and to hang out as a group. Sometimes they call it dating when all they do is go out together, hopefully that`s the case as when he gets older he may be tired of just holding hands!

Dating???Uhhh.....a little young, there, eh? Even "hanging out" is gonna lead to trouble with a captial T!!! If you are actually giong for this(I have abousolutly no clue why you would, other than you want to be a grandmother at an really EARLY age) than you sould tighten your seatbelt and hold on, cause this is gonna be one wild ride!

No 11 year old child should be allowed to "hang out" with their friends unless an adult is with them at all times! They are to young to be by them selves.

ok the YOUNGEST your kid should start "dating" is 13 cuz then he has a higher maturity level and is more likely to have "real" realationship. at 13 it is appropriate to hold hands,hug,and kiss. if you think he is going any farther than a peck on the cheek....... then he needs a long talk about the whole realationship thing. oh and tell him that when it is appropriate for him to date ( 13 ) he should stay away from friends exs or ask what the friend thinks. ok thats all i got good luck!
