This is an interesting question. If there was a real Hogwarts
and I had received a letter of admissions to the school, probably
overjoyed at the idea of going to a school dedicated to magic and
that has an awesome history plus I would be thrilled at all the spells I would learn and it would be an experience of a lifetime.

I love thinking about this! Sigh...I would go, of course. I would miss my family, but I guess I would wait for a Professor to pick me up and take me to London (I live in USA). It might freak my parents out a bit, but miss out on Hogwarts? Not a chance in the world.

Well, at age 11 I would have been pleased as punch to go. However at that point in my family's development I might have a rough time convincing my mother that it wasn't satanic witchcraft or whatever. She has since WAY mellowed out, by the way, and in fact includes the Potter books in her classes. So, go Mom.

So first, i would stare at it (thinking if anyone i know has a reason to pull a prank on me). then i would scream. then i would go shopping, for spell books and robes and all that fun stuff.
i think it would be really cool to learn magic, its a bummer that magic (well the type they teach at Hogwarts) isnt real.

Become dumbfounded, cry tears of joy, then wonder where the h%#$ the damn bird was for the past 22 years. I'd still go no matter what. They would have to drag me out of the castle... =)
Siriusly.
Of course it would be confirmation on what I, along with a few others, knew for years.
I'ma witch... ;P

Drive down to the local hospital and get my head checked out... Cause if I thought that I was getting letters from nonexsistent places, I would definitely be worried about my sanity...
