I know someone like this but to make matters worse it's bowtie that never leaves the body.
Ps) my guess is he never takes it off---even
in the shower. Look to see if the tie is wet and you'll know.

Windsor knots keep there knot even if you pull the other end of the tie out, so theoretically you can tie your tie once then be able to slip it on and off expedentially without ever having to really retie the tie.

Yea he takes it off, but when he does he tries to be very careful as to not pull the other side out then places it on his night stand, and put it back on in the morning to take his shower

May be he does take it off. but some guy doesn't take it off because he is too lazy to put back on.
