Drummers form communities. So if you're interested in meeting a drummer girl, you'll have better chances by drumming yourself.
And of course in African cultures drumming is a demonstration of verility. If the women you're interested in are attracted to boastful displays of artistry, you're chances of drawing attention by being a drummer will boost your chances.
Even if you don't get the girls from drumming per se, women tend to be attracted to guys who express passion for something. So If you love drumming, then drum. Being yourself is the best way to woo potential mates, whatever your self may be.

Being in a band never hurts when trying to attract women, but usually the drummer is overshadowed by the lead singer.

of course!!! i luv drummers. they'r really hot! but usually it's the guitar players ( me ) who get the most attention.
